A device that can continuously record the depth readings of the vessel's echo depth sounding device, except when operating on the Great Lakes and their connecting and tributary waters. On 17SEP22 Sector Jacksonville VDO received vessels ENOA that stated "Echosounder not operational." and subsequently issued LOD 035-22 (Inbound-Outbound) as the vessel stated they are not planning on fixing the inoperable device while in Jacksonville or until 22NOV22 as stated on their Class Report.

Fire plan shows accomodation ladder doors and galley door as class "B" despite their associated divisions listed in the plan as class "A". PSCO examined accomodation and galley doors and found multiple inconsistencies in door classifications and functions (74 SOLAS II-2, 9.4.2.1)(50a,c)
