Essential Systems or equipment must be regulary tested and examined. Tests and examinations must verify that the system or equipment functions as designed. If a component is found unsatisfactory, it must be repaired or replaced. Vessel's steering alarm did not activate on bridge when system was securted from the engine room.
Action required: 16 - Rectify deficiencies w/in 14 days

Resolution: Received technican report that the steering alarm was rewired and alarm was operating properly.

Machinery and electrical systems must be designed and maintained to provide for safe operation of the towing vessel and safety of persons onboard under normal and emerrgency conditions. Leak ws detected near the fuel tank on installed fuel shut off valve. Drip averaged a drip every 3 seconds.
Action required: 60 - Rectify deficiencies prior to movement
Resolved 12 January 2021
Resolution: Received video after valve was fixed showing no leak from valve.
