The owner or managing operator shall make a vessel available for drydock examination whenever damage or deterioration to hull plating or structural members that may affect the seaworthiness of a vessel is discovered. The aftermost section on the starboard pontoon sustained damage from a dock cleat penetrating the pontoon endcap above the water line. Effect proper repairs to the aluminum pontoon to the satisfaction of the attending CG marine inspectors prior to carrying passengers.
