The decks shall be constructed of steel or other equivalent material. Several sections of the house decking were found to be warped. The condition of the deck cannot be verified due to a laminated surface. No documentation could be provided attesting to the condition of the steel or concrete prior to the insulation installation. 2014 SOLAS CH II-2 REG 11

Every ship shall be provided with a main steering gear and an auxiliary steering gear to the satisfaction of the administration. The rudder angle transmitter was found with a missing cotter pin and nut. 2004 SOLAS CH II-1 Reg 29.1 and 29.2.1
