The company should establish and maintain procedures to control all documents and data which are relevant to the safety management system. The company should ensure that obsolete documents are promptly removed. PSCO observed 02 garbage managemetn plans when examining ship documentation. Garbage record books indicated taht the old plan was being used until 18MAY18 when a new garbage record book was started. Acocording to the shipboard safety anagement manual: " In the event that documents that have been disposed of will be stored for some purpose, the date and that they became invalid and the wored 'stored' should be separated from documents currently in use." New garbage management plan came in to effect 01MAR18. An internal audit is recommend within 03 months.

0611- All life-saving appliances and arrangements shall comply with the applicable requirements of the code. The rations shall be packed in permanently sealed or vacuumed packed in a flexible packaging material. 07 food rations were found to not be vacuumed sealed resulting in damaged food. - SOLAS 74(14)III/34 LSA CODE 4.1.5.1.18 - 17c
