1730- Oily-water seperating equipment - Oil filtering equipment shall be provided with arrangements to indicate when oily mixture disharged to sea exceeds 15ppm. It shall also automatically stop discharge of oily mixture to sea when it exceeds 15ppm. Vessel's captain notified that oil filtering equipment does not read accurate oily mixture ppm and is not functioning as designed. MARPOL I/14.
