Issued 27 June 2018
Resolved
Applicable vessels must maintain a Ballast Water Management Plan that has been developed specifically for the vessel and that will allow those responsible for the plan's implementation to understand and follow the BWM strategy and comply with the requirements of this subpart. PSCO observed that BWM plan did not meet BWM plan requirement for operating in U.S. Additionally, the installed AMS operations manual is similiar, but not exact model and lacked specific information to AMS installed onboard vessel. Rectify prior to discharging ballast water in U.S. waters. 33CFR151.2050(g)
Action required: 705 - Other - as specified
Resolved 8 February 2019
Resolution: PSC NOLA received a class report from LLOYD'S REGISTER satisfying the requirement.
