All other types of cargo spaces shall be fitted with either a fixed fire detection and fire alarm system or a sample extraction smoke detection system complying with the requirements of the Fire Safety Systems Code. PSCO was informed by the Captain of a class report from ABS that stated "Sample Extraction Smoke Detection System for Cargo hold indicating fault". PSCO verified this issue on the bridge Sample Extraction Smoke Detection System. 74 SOLAS (20) II-2/19.3.3
