A daily service tank having a capacity of 500L and above situated above he double bottom shall be fitted with a cock or valve directly on the tankcapable of being closed from a safe position outside the space concerned in the event of a fire. PSCO observed an obstruction impeding proper operation of remote fuel shut off. PSCO observed records showing the shutoff valve was tested on 04May22.

The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons onboard. Vessel reported loss of astern propulsion while approraching Bombay Hook Anchorage in Delaware. Vessel must provide a class report with a causal analysis of the loss of propulsion and completion of repairs prior to movement.

Resolved 3 February 2022
Resolution: Class surveyor attested to satisfactory crew repair and operational test of the main engine control system. Equipment has been restored to good working condition.
