Resolution: New water pump installed and stbd generator tested satisfactory. Port generator is operational but techs noted an error code on the engine control unit. Tech replaced the engine control unit out of caution. Codes cleared and port generator tested sat.

??Received a report that the M/V AMERICAN COURAGE allided with the 14 mile RR bridge. According to the Capt. the vessel along with her 7 barges was in transit under the bridge when the bridge was lowered during their transit and the Captain did everything he could to avoid hitting the bridge. Moderate damage was sustained to the vessel and minimal damage was sustained to the 14 mile bridge. According to the vessel [name withheld], the vessel in his opinion is safe to sail to Blakeley and all equipment is still fully operational. Vessel plans to wait at MM 15 for the M/V AMERICAN DREAM to take over their tow and then immediately transit to Blakeley shipyard to have a surveyor asses the damage and come up with a repair plan. Vessel will be issued an 835 allowing them to proceed to Blakeley to asses repair needed.
