An alarm system shall be provided indicating any fault requiring attention and shall be capable of sounding an audible alarm in the main machinery control room and indicate visually each separate alarm function. PSCO observed multiple alarm indicators throughout the engine room having extinguished lights or unable to produce sound. 74SOLAS14 II-I Reg 51.1.1

Resolution: Witnessed testing of all visual and audible alarms in the main machinery space. All alarms were found to be in good working order.
