Vessel Safety Radiotelephony certificate is expired, must get a new current certificate. 47CFR80

Vessel captain and crew must receive level of training for the drug and alcohol program per regulation.

Vessel must get new charts with current updates. Charts onboard are AUG2020 and MAY2023.

Master of vessel must communicate ashore or leave a written passenger count for each voyage. Vessel has no current plan or way of meeting this regulation.

"Annual inspection. Your vessel must undergo an annual inspection within the 3 months before or after each anniversary date..." Vessel has lapsed on annual inspection date as well as Drydock date. Issued prior to passenger to be rectified upon completion of inspections.

At each inspection for certification and at every other vessel inspection all observed unsafe practices, fire hazards, and other hazardous situations must be corrected and all required guards and protective devices must be in satisfactory condition. Vessel had tools and miscellaneous items on the vessel that created an unsafe condition. All excess items must be removed from vessel prior to the carriage of passengers. 46 CFR 176.830(a)

provision must be made for closing all supply duct cowls or scoops and exhaust duct discharge openings for a space protected by a fixed gas extinguishing system. All closure devices must be readily available and mounted in the vicinity of the vent. S/b side vent cover mount was not installed. 46 CFR 182.460(h)

Each vessel must be equipped with at least two operable portable battery lights. One of these lights must be located at the operating station and the other at the access to the propulsion machinery space. Vessel is not have operable portable lights onboard. 46 CFR 183.430

All cable and wiring must: Be installed with metal supports spaced not more than 610 millimeters (24 inches) apart, and in such a manner as to avoid chafing and other damage. The use of plastic tie wraps must be limited to bundling or retention of multiple cable installations, and not used as a means of support, except that on vessels of not more than 19.8 meters (65 feet) in length, installations in accordance with paragraph 14.h of ABYC E–8 and paragraph 15.h of ABYC E–9 (both incorporated by reference; see 46 CFR 175.600) are acceptable as meeting the requirements of this section; 46 CFR 183.340(b)(4)

A suitable metal marine type strainer, meeting the requirements of the engine manufacturer, must be fitted in the fuel supply line in the engine compartment. Strainers must be leak free. Strainers must be the type of opening on top for cleaning screens. A drip pan fitted with flame screen must be installed under gasoline strainers. Fuel filter and strainer bowls must be highly resistant to shattering due to mechanical impact and resistant to failure due to thermal shock. Fuel filters fitted with bowls of other than steel construction must be approved by the Commandant and be protected from mechanical damage. Approval of bowls of other than steel construction will specify if a flame shield is required. Fastner under flame bowl must be switched from plastic to metalic. 46 CFR 182.455(b)(6)

VESSEL MUST UNDERGO AN ANNUAL INSPECTION WITHIN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE OR AFTER EACH ANNIVERSARY DATE. VESSEL'S USCG CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION WAS ISSUED 24AUG2020 BUT DID NOT RECEIVE A USCG ANNUAL INSPECTION FOR 2021. PRIOR TO PASSENGER OPERATIONS, VESSEL WILL NEED TO BE INSPECTED BY USCG MARINE INSPECTORS AND BE RE-ISSUED A USCG CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION. 46 CFR 176.500(b)(1)
