The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations. To ensure that the ship in all aspects will remain fir to proceed without danger to ship or person on board. The number 3 crane hoisting wire parted during cargo operations. No damage was done to the number 3 hold top tank. A spare hoisting wire is on board. All maintenance on hoisting wire has been conducted satisfactory. - 74 SOLAS (20) I/11 - 10c
