During steering test of the lifeboat, the steering cable experienced a catastrophic failure of separated from the steering wheel leaving the steering mechanism innoperable.74 SOLAS (2020) III/20.2

Resolution: Vessel personnel installed a broken bolt that was found to be broken during troubleshooting. System tested with satisfactory results.
