The IG system shall be capable of delivering IG with an oxygen content of not more than %5 to the cargo tanks. Found expired span gas being used to calibrate AIG system. Verified no discharges requiring use of IG had occurred prior to expiry of bottle. Cargo ops restricted until receipt and proof of calibration via use of non-expired span gas is received to ensure system properly calibrated for next use of IG system.
