Cargo Ships may carry one or more free-fall lifeboats, complying with the requirements of section 4.7 of the code, capable of free-fall launch over the stern of the ship. Notwithstanding the requirements of paragraph 1.1, bulk carriers as defined in regulation IX/1.6 constructed on or after 1 July 2006 shall comply with the requirements of paragraph 1.2.
Vessel is registered as a bulk carrier by the Bahamas and does not carry a free-fall lifeboat.
