A certificate called an International Certificate of Fitness for the Carriage of Liquefied Gases in Bulk, should be issued after an initial or renewal survey to a gas carrier engaged in international voyages which complies with the relevant provisions of the Code. PSCO observed when comparing the vessel’s Certificate of Fitness to the vessel’s Fuel Gas Plant Operations Manual the following cargos are listed on the Certificate of Fitness but not on the Fuel Gas Plant Operations manual for carriage in the deck fuel tanks: butadiene, butylenes, diethyl ether, dimethylamine, dimethyl ether, isopropylamine, propylene, vinyl ethyl ether.

Resolution: Received corrected certificate of fitness aligning the vessel's COF with the vessel's fuel gas plant operations manual with respect to what cargos are authorized to be carried in the vessel fuel gas tanks. Reminded vessel’s master to submit changes to MSC

Received report that the vessel experienced malfunctioning port anchor windless and made immediate repairs with STBD anchor windless to retrieve anchor. Vessel reported that both anchors are available for letting go however, the STBD windless in not capable of hoisting. 74 SOLAS (14) I/11
