Annual inspection. Your vessel must undergo an annual inspection within the 3 months before or after each anniversary date. Vessel is overdue for its fourth annual inspection.

The master and crew of a vessel will be familiar with the content of and have mounted at the operating station, emergency instructions containing the actions to be taken in the event of fire, heavy weather, or man overboard conditions. Except when in the judgment of the cognizant OCMI the operation of a vessel does not present on of the hazards listed, the emergency instruction placard should contain at least the applicable portions of the "Emergency Instructions" listed in 46 CFR 185.512. The emergency instructions must be designed to address the particular equipment, arrangement, and operation of each individual vessel. The heavy weather emergency instructions was not posted.

A vessel must be provided with a satisfactory arrangement for draining any watertight compartment, other than small buoyancy compartments, under all practicable conditions. Bilge pump switch was found inoperable.

At each initial and subsequent inspection for certification of a vessel, the owner or managing operator shall be prepared to conduct tests and have the vessel ready for inspections of the hull structure and its appurtenances, including the following: Inspection of the condition of the superstructure, masts, and similar arrangements constructed on the hull. Starboard rub rail and mounting hardware used to fasten the superstructure deck cap fiberglass flange to the hull is missing. Provide new rub rail and hardware to refasten the superstructure deck cap fiberglass flange to the hull to the satisfaction of the attending MI. 46 CFR 176.802(a)(3)

Independent fuel tanks must be designed and constructed as described in this paragraph. The vessel's port diesel fuel tank has pitting from corrosion on the aft side by the mounting tab. A USCG Marine Inspector attended the vessel and found wastage in the area of the pitting that exceeds 25% of the fuel tank platings original thickness. Submit a repair proposal to the attending USCG Marine Inspector for review and approval. 46 CFR 182.440 (a)

Fuses must be of the cartridge type only and be listed by Underwriters Laboratories or another independent laboratory recognized by the Commandant. The vessel had spade type fuse protecting electrical equipment in the Lazzarette Compartment and under the Operating Station console. Replace the spade type fuses with cartridge type fuses (AGC/MDL) Type to the satisfaction of the Marine Inspector. 46 CFR 183.380(l)

A vessel that is exposed to salt water more than three months in any 12 month period since the last examination must undergo a drydock examination and an internal structural at least once every two years. The vessel passed it's two year drydock exam window on Sept. 30, 2020.

As Appropriate for the intended voyage a vessel must carry adequate and up-to-date U.S. Coast Oilot, Coast Guard Light List; Vessel's Coast Pilot and light list is dated 2016; Provide the most up to date publication

A hatch exposed to the weather must be watertight. FWD and amidships hatches not watertight. Make hatches watertight.
