Resolution: PSC NOLA recieved a class report from BV satiisfying the requirements.
1530-All ships of 3000 GT and upwards shall have a 3 GHz radar, or where considered appropriate by the Administration, a second 9 GHz radar. Master reported on Notice of Arrival inoperable X-band radar.
Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure

Resolution: Recieved, reviewed and accepted proper documentation from tech stating the deficiency was rectified. Tech replaced magnatron, all test sat.

Maintenance, testing and inspections shall be carried out based on guidelines developed by the Organization and in a manner having due regard to ensuring the reliability of fire fighting systems and appliances. PSCO observed the crew testing the onboard flame detection system with a small torch. The crew was unable to provide testing procedures that approved this method.

Resolution: Recieved, reviewed and accepted class report from BV. stating the deficiency had been recitfied. ship recieved proper testing equipment and all flame detectors tested satifacory.
