Issued 30 March 2021 Resolved
An immersion suit of an appropriate size complying with the requirements of section 2.3 of the Code shall be provided for every person on board the ship. 30 out of 31 immerion suits were found by Flag state to be deteriorated and unfit for service. The Master was able to provide a purchased receipt for the immersion suits 04 days after the Flag state inspection. Currently, there is 01 operational immersion suit onboard.
Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
Resolved 17 February 2022
Resolution: Vessel submitted purchase receipt and update of immersion suits of different sizes for the crewmembers.
