Each liferaft or group of liferafts shall be stowed with a float free arrangement complying with tthe requirements of paragraph 4.1.6 of the Code so that each floats free. All 04 of te 16 person liferafts were installed with their sea painters secured to the brackets instead of the hydrostatic release unit aid would not float free from the vessel in the event of sinking. 74SOLAS(14)III113.4.2 10c
