"At each initial and subsequent inspection for certification of a vessel, the owner or managing operator shall be prepared to conduct tests and have the vessel ready for inspections of machinery, fuel, and piping systems." Wiring penetration was loose on the fwd bulkhead port and starboard side. Ensure the fittings are watertight and not loose. Sump hose under generator was inoperable due to chaffing. Sump hose shall be replaced. Starboard fwd section of raw water cooling leading to wet exhaust was corroded and requires replacement. Aft transverse section of bilge piping in steering compartment was wasted and had a broken bracket; installation requires piping renewal and reinstalled bracket.
