The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. The vessel's TOH circulating pump for the main engine was not operating properly resulting in an immediate stoppage of the main engine. Ensure the TOH circulating pump and main engine are operating properly and the vessel is safe to proceed to the satisfaction of Class and USCG.
