After any survey of the ship under regulations 7, 8, 9, or 10 has been completed, no change shall be made in the strucural arrangements, machinery equipment and other items covered by the survey, without the sanction of the administration. PSCO observed fixed piping and hose of no. 2 HFO purifier that had been modified and cross-connected to the piping/hose of the no. 3 HFO purifier by ship's crew without documentation. 74SOLAS(20) I/II(b)

Resolved 25 September 2025
Resolution: Vessel has received class survey on 25SEP25. The ship's crew has cleared/opened the drain fresh water pipe of HFO purifier #2, disconnected it from HFO purifier #3, and connected the lower pipe as per the original design.

Following installation, the master, owner, operator, agent, or person in charge of the vessel must properly maintain the BWMS in accordance with all manufacturer specifications. Vessel's ballast water management system is inoperable. Vessel shall not discharge ballast water into U.S. Waters unless authorized by the local COTP. 33CFR151.2025(a)(1) 40c
