Means shall be provided to control leaks of flammable liquids. PSCO observed excessive amounts of lube oil pooling on main engine #2 cylinder, as well as excessive oil soaked lagging under lube oil line.
Condition: Improper Installation
Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
Resolved 18 October 2020
Resolution: Class surveyor attended. Upper sealing ring of hydraulic pipe for No. 2 cylinder exhaust valve of main engine found not in normal condition, and was renewed. Hydraulic pipe was reassembled; surrounding oil stains were cleaned.
