PSCOs observed seven electrical penetrations in the emergency diesel generator room with broken/missing wire penetrations structural fire protection. 74SOLAS(14) Ch. II-1 / Reg 45.5.6

9900 - Gas detection equipment should be so designed that is may be readily be tested. During calibration of the #1 sensor inside the cabinet it was found that the sensor would not calibrate correctly. While using 50% LEL +-2 span gas the sensor never got within range to 50% LEL.
