Passenger ships carrying more than 36 passengers shall be equipped with an automatic sprinkler of an approved type complying with the requirements of the Fire Safety Systems Code in all control stations, accommodation and service spaces, including corridors and stairways. PSCOs observed 4 ampules in locations (by FSD 07 034T, Mud Area 6174G, Steam Room 5172A, and by the Service Bar 6036P) that did not meet the requirements of the Fire Safety Systems Code because all five did not have the required fluid within the bulb, andone ampule in the Salt Room 5166A that did fully activate due to corrosion within the head. 74 SOLAS (2020) II-2/10.6.1.1
