In a ship in which oil fuel is used, the arrangements for the storage, distribution , and utilization of the oil fuel shall be such as to ensure the safety of the ship and persons on board...fuel oil pump for cylinder #6 of the #2 generator set had an active leak of fuel oil at a rate of approximately 180 drops per minute. Further, the lube oil supply line for cylinder #6 of the main engine had an accumulation of lube oil beginning on top of the engine block and continuing down to the base of the fuel pump. 74 SOLAS(24) II-2/4.2.2 17(a)(c)

PSCO's observed a catach bucket beneath an MDO pipe between the day tank and the boiler hald filled with MDO. No active leak was observed.
