PRV's shall be set and sealed by the Administration or Recognized Organization acting on their behalf and a record of this action including the valvesset pressure shall be retained on board. Vessel could not produce class or flag approval of seat and sealing of cargo tank PRVs.
PRVs appear properly set and sealed.
Provide USCG with proper documentation of seat and seal certificate prior to next U.S. port after sailing foreign.

Resolution: Received DNV accepted Cargo tank Set and Seal Report from previous drydock in 2022. Report scanned into MISLE.
Methane (LNG) is the only cargo whose vapour or boil-off gas may be utilized in machinery spaces of category A (16.1.7). When the Code requires that a particular fitting, material, appliance, apparatus item of equipment or type thereof should be made or any procedure or arrangement be complied with, the Administration may allow, any other fitting, material, appliance, apparatus, item or equipment or type thereof to be fitted or carried, or any other provi9sion or procedure or arrangement to be made to that ship, if it is satisfied by trial thereof or that any particular provision, procedure, or arrangement as at least as effective as that required by the Code. (1.4.1). When the administration allows such substitution, it should be communicated to the organization the particulars thereof together with a report on the evidence submitted. (1.4.2). Subject vessel is configured to burn ethane vapours as fuel in main engine in category A machinery space. Vessel's certificate of Fitness (#G118003) does not list an exemption for this item (only exemption is for mast riser height) or equivalency (no equivalencies listed in section 5 of Cof).
