Fire detection and alarm systems shall be kept in good order so as far as to ensure their required performance if a fire occurs. Main fire alarm and detection panel on bridge has fault, preventing the system from sounding a fire alarm throughout the ship. Fault created by defective call point on the portside upper deck accomodation doorway.
