On a vessel on which the number of passengers permitted on upper decks is limited by stability criteria, as indicated by the vessels stability letter, the maximum number of passengers allow on an upper deck must be indicated by marking of at least 1" at the entrance way. The vessels certificate of inspection reduced the vessels number permitted on the upper deck to a maximum of 34 passengers. Mark the ladders on port and starboard sides to the satisfaction of the OCMI.
