Issued 4 December 2021 Resolved
The inert gas system shall be designed to be capable of rendering and maintaining the atmosphere of the relevenat cargo tanks non-flammable. The inert gas system will not operate due to sensor error restricting scrubber pump operation. SOLAS 2014 CON. ED. CH. II-2 Reg. 4.5.5.1.1 FSS Code 2015 Ed. CH. 15.2.2.1.1.
Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
Resolved 6 December 2021
Resolution: MSD Lewes verified proper function and capacity of the #1 IG Blower and witnessed satisfactory test of IG system and associated alarms and shutdowns. Vessel's Class issued a Condition of Class for thirty days to replace positioner. VSL cleared for cargo
