-Immediately after addressing resultant safety concerns, the owner, agent, master, or person in charge of a vessel involved in a marine casualty shall notify the nearest Sector Office, Marine Inspection Office; -Vessel representative self reported vessel hitting the pier in Manhattan at pier 34 and reporting hull damage iwo the port lazarette at the water line, with minor water being reported into the space. -Repairs or alterations to the hull, machinery, or equipment that affect the safety of the vessel must not be made without the approval of the cognizant OCMI, except during an emergency; -Provide a repair proposal and make repairs to the satisfaction of the CG.
