01201 - Each officer employed on any vessel subject to this subchapter must have his or her license or merchant mariner credential onboard and available for examination at all times when the vessel is operating. Provide evidence of valid MMC. - 46 CFR 185.402

99101 - Marine employers shall establish programs for the chemical testing for dangerous drugs on a random basis of crewmembers on inspected vessels who: Occupy, or perform the duties and functions of, a position required by the vessel's Certificate of Inspection; or, Are specifically assigned the duties of warning, mustering, assembling, assisting, or controlling the movement of passengers during emergencies. Provide evidence of satisfactory drug and alcohol program. - 46 CFR 16.230(a)

01199 - Any vessel of at least five net tons which engages in coastwise trade must have a Certificate of Documentation bearing a valid endorsement appropriate for the activity in which engaged. Provide evidence of valid Certificate of Documentation. - 46 CFR 67.7

10116 - As appropriate for the intended voyage, a vessel must carry adequate and up-to-date: Charts of large enough scale to make safe navigation possible; U.S. Coast Pilot or similar publication; Coast Guard Light List; Tide tables; and Current tables, or a river current publication issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or a river authority. Provide evidence of up-to-date navigational publications and nautical charts. - 46 CFR 184.420(a)

15107 - The master and crew of a vessel will be familiar with the content of and have mounted at the operating station, emergency instructions containing the actions to be taken in the event of fire, heavy weather, or man overboard conditions. Provide evidence of satisfactory emergency instructions. - 46 CFR 185.510(a)

15107 - A durable placard must be posted next to all radiotelephone installations with the emergency broadcast instructions and information, specific to the individual vessel. Provide evidence of satisfactory emergency broadcast placard. - 46 CFR 184.506

01203 - Each ship transporting more than six passengers for hire equipped with a radiotelephone station must carry a radio operator who meets the following requirements: the radio operator must hold a marine radio operator permit or higher class license. Provide evidence of valid FCC Marine Radio Operator Permit. - 47 CFR 80.159(e)

05199 - Except as noted in paragraph (c) of this section, stations in the maritime service must be licensed by the FCC either individually or by fleet. Provide evidence of valid FCC Station License. - 47 CFR 80.13(a)

05199 - Every vessel must have a detailed inspection of the radio installation by an FCC-licensed technician in accordance with Section 80.59 once every five years. Provide evidence of valid FCC Safety Radiotelephony Certificate. - 47 CFR 80.903

04110 - The master shall conduct sufficient drills and give sufficient instructions to make sure that all crew members are familiar with their duties during emergencies that necessitate abandoning ship or the recovery of persons who have fallen overboard. 04109 - The master shall conduct sufficient fire drills to make sure that each crew member is familiar with his or her duties in case of a fire. Complete satisfactory Fire Drill. - 46 CFR 185.524(a)

01213 - The owner, charterer, master or managing operator shall instruct each crew member, upon first being employed and prior to getting underway for the first time on a particular vessel and at least once every three months, as to the duties that the crew member is expected to perform in an emergency including, but not limited to, the emergency instructions listed on the emergency instruction placard required by Section 185.510 of this part and, when applicable, the duties listed in the station bill required by Section 185.514 of this part.
