Shutoff valves, installed so as to close against the fuel flow, must be fitted in the fuel supply lines, one at the tank connection and one at the engine end of the fuel line to stop fuel flow when servicing accessories. Starboard aft fuel shut off valves installed in manner which contacts starboard forward valve preventing full closure. Adjust starboard aft fuel shut off valve so valve can be closed without interference. 46 CFR 182.455 (B)(4)

Vessels life ring buoy if carrying only one must have 60' life line and a buoyant light attached to the body of the ring buoy by a corrosion resistant clip and 3'-6' of line if vessel is authorized to operate at night. Vessels life ring buoy did not have the life line attached and the line for the buoyant light was too short not allowing it to fit around the body of the ring buoy. Properly attach both the life line and the buoyant light to vessels ring buoy.
