The various tasks should be defined and assigned to qualified personnel. Vessel's crew uses their cargo gas as a testing medium to test fixed gas system LEL alarm. Vessel did not have any procedures to instruct crew members in how to conduct a test, only calibration is addressed. ISM Code A/7 - 50c
