For this purpose, the following functional requirements shall be met: means shall be provided to control leaks of flammable liquids. PSCO observed accumulated oil in multiple places to include the steering gear, service generators, underneath main diesel engine and main air compressor. 74SOLAS(20)II-2/4.1.1 - 17ac

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from ClassNK stating the deficiency was rectified. Cleaned the places of oil accumulated. Checked and retightened pipe fittings and connectors of all machinery parts of the oil accumulated places.

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from ClassNK stating the deficiency was rectified. The cigarettes have been disposed into the domestic garbage bin(Red) next to the gangway on the deck after completely extinguished.

Before the ship leaves port and at all times during the voyage, all life-saving appliances shall be in working order and ready for immediate use. PSCO observed the outboard engine on the rescue boat was not able to go astern.
