Cargo sample storage space shall be:
(1) Cell-divided in order to prevent shifting of the bottles at sea; and
(2) Made of material fully resistant to the different liquids stowed. The master shall make sure that cargo sample bottles are stored:
(1) In ways that prevent shifting of the bottles at sea;
(2) In bins or containers that are resistant to the cargo samples. Vessel cargo sample storage back is of insufficient capacity to hold all sample bottles carried on board. Cargo sample bottles were piled on top of one another within the storage rack.
