At each initial and subsequent inspection for certification of a vessel, the owner or managing operator shall be prepared to conduct tests and have the vessel ready for inspections of the hull structure and its appurtenances. The vessel did not conduct a dry dock inspection before the vessel's anniversary date of 30 September 2022. The vessel is restricted from carrying passengers in commercial service until a credit drydock is completed.

For fixed-gas fire extinguishing systems, the inspections and tests required by Table 176.810(b) of this section, in addition to the tests required by 46 CFR 147.60 and 147.65. The owner or managing operator must provide satisfactory evidence of the required servicing to the marine inspector. If any of the equipment or records have not been properly maintained, a qualified servicing facility may be required to perform the required inspections, maintenance procedures, and hydrostatic pressure tests. The vessel’s two fixed-gas fire extinguishers have not been serviced. Conduct servicing and show proof of operations to the satisfaction of the Coast Guard prior to operating the vessel.

Exhaust blower switches must be located outside of any space required to be ventilated by this section, and must be of the type interlocked with the starting switch and the ignition switch so that the blowers are started before the engine starter motor circuit or the engine ignition is energized. A red warning sign at the switch must state that the blowers must be operated prior to starting the engines for the time sufficient to insure at least one complete change of air in the space served. Vessel does not have the starter or ignition switch interlocked with the mechanical ventilation required for internal gasoline tank. 46 CFR 182.460(e)
