THE TANK OVERFILL ALARM REQUIRED BY PARAGRAPH (a) OF THIS SECTION MUST ACTIVATE A VISIBLE AND AUDIBLE ALARM SO THAT IT CAN BE SEEN AND HEARD ON THE VESSEL WHERE CARGO TRANSFER IS CONTROLLED AND IN THE CARGO ADECK AREA.
PSCO OBSERVED THAT THE AUDIBLE ALARM COULD NOT BE HEARD IN THE CARGO DECK AREA.

Resolved 15 May 2025
Resolution: Class surveyor attended and stating: Audible alarm devicewas replaced with new spare provided onboard. Cargo tank overfill alarm device was tested in the presence of the attending surveyor and both of audible & visible alarm were found properly working.
