Gas detection systems provided in accordance with the requirements of this chapter shall activate the alarm at 30% LFL and shut down the master gas fuel valve at not more than 60% LFL. While conducting gas detection test of the master gas valves in the GVU room, the master gas valves did not close at 60% LFL. - 40ac - (Solas 74(2014) Ch. Resolution: MSU Port Arthur had meeting with Flag State inspector. System diagrams were submitted showing the Gas detection system was designed to have 2 gas detectors reach 60% LEL before the MGVs close. System will be reconfigured to have one detector reach 60% LEL
