Scope of the exam is not limiting, although primary intent is for operator & cognizant OCMI Marine inspector(s) to confirm all operator items (Documents, Pubs, Crew Drills, etc.) are compliant & vessel fit for the intended route and service. Once satisfied a new five-year COI must issue by the cognizant OCMI.

New COD must be obtained before issuance of a new five-year COI.
