SOLAS 75 (14) ii-1/40.1.2 Electrical installations shall be such that the safety of crew and ship from electrical hazards will be ensured. Upon inspection of the electrical motor room, condensate from ventilation fan was leaking on to electrical equipment causing excessive rust and corrosion.

Resolution: Prior to cargo operations: Class (LR) attended vessel and found analysis pump was leaking. Pump repaired and tested to the satisfaction of the attending class inspector.
