Total capacity of the slop tank or tanks shall not be less than 3% of the oil carrying capacity of the ship. PSCO noted that the vessel's slop tanks are currently full with product and the residual tank is in alarm condition (90m/3 of 95m/3 total). Vessel is prohibited from loading until residue and/or slop tanks are discharged.

Resolution: Recieved receipt attesting to the removal of slops from their tanks.
The oil filtering equipment shall be designed to the specification of the administration. Oily water separating equipment and oil content meter shall have regard to the specifications of the MEPC 107(49). PSCO observed that the oil content meter did not display the required data(date/time).
