-Checking the firemans outfit.
-Checking of relevant communication equipment.
PSCOs observed that during first fire drill crew did not conduct a muster in accordance with muster list and shipboard fire drill checklist. During drill no communications were conducted between bridge, on-scene coordinator, or fire team.
During second drill crew attempted to fight oil-based fire with water hose. Crew could not demonstrate knowledge on use of foam applicators to fight oil-based fire.
