PSCO observed significant hydraulic oil leaks along the steering assembly. The source of the leak was not identified. 74 SOLAS II-2/26.1

Resolution: Recieved, reviewed and accepted NKK class report stating the steering pump mounting bolts and all associated fittings were tightened. No visible leaks observed.

Particular consideration shall be given to protect such spaces against fire and flooding. PSCO observed engine room bilge well aft bilge alarm not functioning. 74 SOLAS II-1/31.3
