07 - Fire Safety › N/A - No Subsystem › Fire prevention structural integrity
Issued 17 February 2026
Resolved
Vapor barriers must be provided where insulation of any type is used in spaces where flammable and combustible liquids or vapors are present, such as machinery spaces and paint lockers. 04 PVC cable penetrations were found in between the port and starboard engine room. Seal the penetrations.
13 - Propulsion and Auxiliary Machinery › N/A - No Subsystem › Auxiliary engine
Issued 28 December 2022
Resolved
Propulsion machinery must be suitable in type and design for propulsion requirements of the hull in which it is installed and capable of operating at constant marine load under such requirements without exceeding its designed limitations.
Vessel's transmission failed resulting in no positive control.
13 - Propulsion and Auxiliary Machinery › N/A - No Subsystem › Bilge pumping arrangements
Issued 14 July 2022
Resolved
At each inspection for certification the operator shall be prepared to conduct tests and have the vessel ready for inspection including test of machinery alarms including bilge high level alarms. Attending MI's observed that the Starboard Engine compartment bilge high level alarm was inoperable.
46CFR176.804 (i)
04 - Emergency Systems › N/A - No Subsystem › Emergency fire pump and its pipes
Issued 14 July 2022
Resolved
A fire pump must be capable of both remote operation from the operating station and the local operations at the pump. Attending MI's identified that the only control station is located locally under the engine room hatch. Vessel is restricted to not more than 49 passengers until the additional control station has been added. 46CFR181.300 (e)
05 - Radio Communications › N/A - No Subsystem › VHF EPIRB
Issued 14 July 2022
Resolved
Each disposable hydrostatic release unit must be marked with an expiration date of two years after the date on which the unit was installed. Attending MI's observed that the EPIRB Hydro install date was June 2022. Due to the lack of supply locally for replacement and the fact that the hydrostatic unit is still within the four year window from when it was manufactured the operators shall have one (1) Week in which to replace the unit. 46CFR176.808 (b)

Each line is an incident investigation the Coast Guard recorded with this hull among the vessels involved, with the date and the classification the Coast Guard gave it. Involvement is not fault. The investigation narrative is not published. Source: IIR, through 2026.
Ownership record
The Coast Guard's documentation record for this hull -- the Abstract of Title,
with its owners and liens as filed -- is not in PSIX. Ask, and Maury buys it from the National
Vessel Documentation Center, files it here with its date, and every reader of this page gets it.
