Flame arresters must be of a type and size suitable for the purpose intended and meet ASTM F 1273. PSCO discovered flame arresters on tanks Slop Port and Starboard, 5 Port, 2 Port, and 6 Starboard with holes and tears rendering the devices ineffective. 46CFR32.20-10 16c
