Flexible nonmetallic hose must be complete with factory-assembled end fittings requiring no further adjustment of the fittings on the hose, or field attachable type fittings may be used. Hose end fittings must comply with SAE J-1475. The diesel flexible fuel hose for outboard engine number 5 was found to be composed of two hoses connected together, instead of being one single integral hose. 46 CFR 182.720(e)(1) Code 16C.

Vessels of more than 65 feet in length must have navigation lights that meet UL 1104, “Standards for Marine Navigation Lights. All Navlights were found to have LED light-bulbs without UL1104 marking. Provide specs that certifies that bulbs meets UL1104 compliance or replace with approved ones. 46 CFR 183.420 Code 16C.
