Survival craft should be constructed and equipped so as to comply with the requirements of Regulations 5, 6, 7, and 11, or Regulations 15, 16, and 17 of Chapter III of the 1974 SOLAS Convention for lifeboats and liferafts, respectively. MI noted seat belt harnesses in Lifeboat 1 were not properly attached. Provide statement from OEM attesting that the harnesses installed are correct for the lifeboat. Until statement from OEM, do not use harnesses on lower seating area and at exit doors that are not properly attached. Rectify within 7 days 79 MODU 10.1.3
